Final garment is inspired by renaissance paintings and gothic architecture, incorporating textiles exploration focusing on knitwear. The black elastic that outlines the top adds a modern day gothic theme to the gothic cathedrals that inspired the shape of the skirt. The arches and the architecture details outlines on the skirt are the most evident feature of the gothic cathedrals (research can be found in another blog post).
